Welcome. My name is Vanity.

I have been involved in psychotherapy for the past 7 years. I have trained in diverse types of therapy, including psychotherapy, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and clinical substance abuse.

Traditionally, western psychotherapy has yet to address the extent at which our society functions (or rather dis-functions) out of harmony with nature. The position of our collective society stems from symptoms of its internal ailements. Failing to acknowlege this Internal /external interrelation, modern western practice has yet to rediscover what our ancient ancestors understood as essential components to a harmonious experience of life. Fortunately, thanks to the ancestors, the wheel does not need to be invented, just rolled. Art of Growth Therapy explores, assess, and incorperates holistic theory and exercises that help recalibrate towards a healthier you.

Therapy Approaches

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Dysfunctional thinking that leads to dysfunctional emotions or behaviors. By changing their thoughts, people can change how they feel and what they do.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT skills aim to help enhance your capabilities in day-to-day life. The four skills you will learn and implement include mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation.

Holistic Therapy

Therapy that address the “whole” person. This kind of therapy integrates spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional forms of well-being. Its goal is to help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves on all these levels.

Integrative Therapy

This integrative approach blends elements from different approaches and tailor their treatment according to each client's needs.

Let's Talk

The first step in therapy is talking. Let's find a time where we can meet and talk about what's on your mind.
